The third-generation Frontier rides on a revised high-strength steel ladder frame carried over from the outgoing model. Redesigned for the first time since the 2005 model year, the 2022 Nissan Frontier sports an overhauled exterior, a new interior, and new suspension components. The 17-year gap between generations of the Frontier left the new truck a lot of work to do, but it has transformed into a modern mid-size pickup with plenty of standard technology and style to go around.
